The next meeting for The Luke & Marcus Trust will take place in Harrogate at Susan’s home, at 10a.m. until midday, on Saturday, 14th September.
The Luke and Marcus Fashion Show will take place on Tuesday evening, 8th October, 2013, at Woodkirk Valley Sports Club, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

A rose bush is to be planted in the garden of St Anne’s Cathedral, Leeds, on Saturday, 24th August, at 11a.m., in memory of the sons and daughters lost to drugs and/or alcohol. A brief ceremony will be lead by Rev. J. Cortez in their memory.

Marilyn and Lesley were kindly invited to give a talk on the effects on families of drug taking by a family member, to Year 10 students at Earlsheaton Technology College, during a health awareness day in July.
On Saturday & Sunday 25/26th July, a group of bereaved family members enjoyed support, peace and laughter with each other in the tranquil surroundings of their hotel in Grasmere, The Lake District. As usual the weather was kind to us and all returned home uplifted.
Sunday 19th May will see family and friends gather to take part in the Nidderdale Sponsored Walk in memory of loved ones lost to drugs and/or alcohol.

The Harrogate June meeting of The Trust will be attended by representatives of the Harrogate Guides, following their visit to the Street Children of Mexico. On Friday 22nd February, Marilyn and Lesley met a lovely group of people at Spacious Places, Leeds. This charity provides treatment for people addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. On Friday 8th March, Dewsbury Civic Ball was held in aid of The Luke and Marcus Trust. Donations of prizes for the auction and raffle from local businesses were much appreciated.
Many of the Luke and Marcus Trust group attended and a good evening was had by all.
